Why am I SO Tired?

My new not so best friend seems to be fatigue. The kind of tiredness you feel in your bones and it's SO hard to keep your eyes open. If  I could just go to sleep and wake up when I am done - not on someone or something else's schedule. How many times have we felt that way - fatigue has been the hardest thing to get used to with this illness. I have had multiple lab tests run and told my Vitamin D level was very low which can contribute to fatigue or that my inflammation markers were high. No one can tell you what to do about fatigue - not really - it varies but I have heard "take Vitamin D supplements, rest when you need to and we need to try another anti-inflammatory agent". I have decided to cook dinner but let someone else clean up, wash/dry clothes but let someone else put them away and I sit on my walker while I'm preparing dinner. Those things help me but the fatigue lingers and it can be quite depressing because I am not able to do things I used to - on the BRIGHT side - I don't have to vacuum or wash pots and pans. On a serious note if you feel that fatigue is an issue - PLEASE speak to your Dr. to see if there is some other underlying cause besides Sjogren's. Too much Vitamin D is NOT recommended before taking it over the counter ask your Dr. so they check your blood levels.
